During my December break, I had a good discussion with my parents about taking up this course. Also managed to meet Le Cordon Bleu Sydney Rep in KL.
Anyway, I've made a decision to defer studying the course. It isn't because I enjoy baking less, it is just that now isn't the right time and for many other reasons too.
As much as I am sad about it, I know that this is the right decision for now. When the right time comes, it'll come. And I know that the course isn't going to run away, it'll be there 5-10 years from now, even more.
For now, I've just got to concentrate on looking out for opportunities and earn more $$ :) It is time to save up.
What more, the Patiesserie course ain't cheap. Some day I will take up the course :)
But do not fear, I will be baking still, occassionally putting up recipes on the site.
