PassionateMae's 1st Blogiversary!

Passionatemae turns ONE today!
26 October 2010
It's my blog's birthday today! OMG, time surely flies, but I've been baking for a year and 1 month now!

Let's take a ride on my baking journey...

It all started with my very first cupcake. I've always wanted to bake, but felt that it was so expensive to start up. But one day, I decided that I was going to have a go at baking and guess what?? I'm still baking..still following my passion.

I really love baking!

My very first cupcake. The Rainbow Cupcake.

I've improved how my cupcakes' look!  - Cupcake Twister

Followed by many many more baking adventures. Scroll down to see snippets of my baking journey.

I made this Nutella Cake by Nigella for a birthday a month after I started baking.

Oreos Cheesecake because it's one of my favourite ever!
Of course, I made some changes to how my favourite dessert of all times should look like here!

I had a go at making Cream Puffs too!

Some Jam drops, similar to the ones that you buy in Woolies!

Melt in Your Mouth Peanut Cookies - you usually would get this during Chinese New Year :)

Go Crazy Ice Cream cake for my brother's birthday!

Yes, making my very own Strawberry Jam

A Malaysian Favourite - HoneyComb Cake

Bakerella version of Cake pops

Love me Always creation

I even had a go at making my very own Hot Cross Buns for Easter

Yes, waffles - Banana or Strawberry!

I wanted to try making Macarons because of all the hype that has been going around!

Who loves eating Banana Cake. I've got a great delicious recipe here for you.

Yes, it's another Malaysian Favourite - Roti Canai, I made my very own at home.

I made this recently, Pillow Chocolate Peanut Butter Puff - such an easy recipe, try it.

For Chocolate Lovers - Chocolate Mud Cupcake

So that's pretty much what I've done throughout my 1st baking journey year.

And Oh....if you do not know already, I never had any formal training in baking. I learned everything from scratched through books, research, recipes and of course a great passion for it. Without my passion for baking, I do not think that I would have come this far.

Thank you so much for following me on my baking journey..seriously, it really means alot. I do hope that you've enjoyed every single step of the journey with me.

I am so excited to what comes next...stay tune for more!

xoxo,
PassionateMae
